It’s deeply disturbing to watch the row going on in the Dáil about turf cutting and burning.

I’d suggest to some of the individuals involved, you know who you are, that you all get on a plane tomorrow and spend a week in Northern India currently experiencing a severe heatwave. Or maybe take a trip to South Africa and witness the devastation that the recent floods have caused with the loss of four hundred lives.

You might see a glimpse of the near future for your children and grand children, which is already the reality for many in other parts of the world.

I support the Government.
