@crossingthethreshold I wonder if Apple Maps quality varies by location. I use Apple Maps the vast majority of the time while driving. I find it better than Google when suggesting what lane to be in and when and I also prefer the layout. It's never really let me down. I do try Google from time to time and just don't like it. And a minor point, Apple speaks to me in my local accent, which really shouldn't matter but somehow it does. :-) Google's real advantage I think is that it has better and more current data on where specific businesses and places are located as it pushes companies into using and also continually messaging them to update Google Business Profiles.
